In their talk, Heike and Gerd report on how they remain adaptable and still manage to forge deep cultural connections. Travelling and working means staying flexible, setting priorities and immersing yourself in foreign cultures. One thing is already clear: prioritising is priority number one! After all, travelling, ecologically sustainable and self-determined living are inseparable for the two of them.
Gerd is the IT manager of a media and publishing company, Heike is a graphic designer responsible for the creation of and training on professional InDesign templates for connecting to editorial systems and databases.
In the third phase of our lives (after our own childhood and that of our kids), we started to discover the world in 2020.
